FINALLY!

We finally developed our film from our underwater camera from Key West. Here are some pictures from our snorkeling adventure.

There were 15 sting rays hanging around us. They freaked me out! They were huge!

Animal Blog???

Hey what is with all the animals? Aren't they fun! I really enjoyed having animals when each of you were small. It gave a very physical meaning to being in the "dog house." I can remember most of you hanging out in the dog house with Gyspie. James took off again the other day. I think next time we are just going to shut the door and let him stay outside in the cold for a while.

Hey Emily, it looks like an old fort in the background. What is it, and what happened there?

Rick & Kassie, are you still on base?

Love,

Dad

New Babies!

So I've finally found a job to provide for Rick and I while he's in school. I'm now working at Colorado Avenue Veterinary Hospital as a Technician...I help with surgeries, draw blood, front desk work, fill prescriptions and basically anything else they need me to.
It didn't take me long to find these two either and bring them home....they are from the same litter, a boy (the one with the orange ears) and a girl. they came in with their mom from the humane society to be fixed and I couldn't leave without them.
The boy kitty doesn't have a name yet but the girl's name is Jane. Very sweet little kittens that we are fostering for a few days. Some good friends of ours will take over ownership next week.

Big D. and Willis

We adopted two dogs from the pound. =) Big D. is a German Shepard who is 3 years old and Willis is a Rottweiler/Sharpei Mix who is 3 months old.

Cruise Pictures!

Eastern Caribbean Cruise

We finally surfaced from our 8 day exotic vacation. The kids were amazed at how big a cruise ship really is, but found, mom and dad are still REALLY boring. Monica, Jaxon and Gunnar made lots of new friends and had a great time eating ice-cream 24 hours a day! (Okay, I indulged a little too much myself!) Sadly, it is incrediby hard to adjust myself back to work, homework, and everything else that seems to be going on - but, sleeping 18 hours a day seemed to make things managable (at least until the extra sleep has worn off!!). Baili was gracious enough to handle the two babies (yes, please note, usually the babies are the ones that get included in EVERYTHING, in fact, usually everything cool - yes, Shelly, I am talking about you!) So, please remind Jerrick and Ryker when they are older and are mad that they didn't get to go - there time will come! At least we hope - maybe we'll be broke and they'll never go anywhere!! Here are some fun pictures!
