(I'm terrible at subject titles sorry)
Wow Emily! I hope they did crash that night...looks like fun. All the pictures and posts lately look like everyone's been having a good summer so far while Rick and I are being bums ( mostly cause the Army won't let us do anything else. * thupt*)
Not much to report from Colorado really. It's rather hot here and housing has yet to install the air conditioning units they promised us so we plan on burning the motors out on all of our fans and having to buy several new fans over the summer and doing the same to those. Joy.
I've been pursuing riding a little more seriously these days since the stables is on my way home. I spent about two hours going over a new course that had been set up for a Hunter Jumper/ Stadium Jumping show last week. It was a lot of fun and needless to say a big workout. Maybe next post I'll have pictures if I can procure a camera ....
As for Rick...he's happily playing on his computer and leveling his World of Warcraft character as always. Pretty easy to please that one...I asked if he had anything to say and he said " Nope. We're still alive. Tell everyone we love them."
That's all for now. Hope everyone is well.

p.s.- Dad, as for going to Fillmore this fall..my mom's family ranch is down there so I've nearly worn that area out. It can be really beautiful though and The Ashton's would surely welcome us. they have lots of room and a couple extra houses at the moment open for use. Maybe even let us herd some Buffalo? If we want to do anything special I'm sure my Uncle Neil could help us out. He's really involved in all the communities there. I can't say for sure for Rick and I but we will look into it.

Golfing Trip
Good afternoon,
Pam and I went on a "Father's Day" trip this last weekend. We left Saturday and stayed in Fillmore at the Paradise Inn, and had dinner at the "Garden of Eat'n." The food was good and we had a fun time golfing the 9 hole course. Pam scored a 54 and I scored a 42. The golf course was right outside our room, which was really nice.
We then traveled to Leeds, just outside of Saint George and went looking for dinosaur tracks. After a couple of hours looking and not finding we gave up and went looking for a cool drink in Saint George. Pictures will be coming soon.
Monday morning we golfed at Sun River golf course. It's a new course where some fairways are a little thin. Pam scored a 108 and I scored 83 or 12 over. After golfing in both places and looking at things to do, Pam and I are considering going back to Fillmore this fall. Any takers?
